Santarella, affectionately known as the Tyringham Gingerbread House, is a truly unique and beautiful setting, a magical place where you can make your dreams come true. Whether for weddings, family events, meetings, or the perfect vacation getaway in the Berkshires, the grounds and facilities afford endless opportunities for you to create a one-of-a-kind event and long-lasting memories.

From the stained-glass windows and steepled roof of the Gingerbread house to the lily pond and babbling brook and stone bridges in our gardens, there is an enchanting, fairy-tale feeling which will transform any event into something extraodinary. Our spacious 4-Bedroom Colonial-era home is a great place for you or your guests to stay while you are in the Berkshires. Or, for a romantic weekend getaway, you can stay in our charming ‘Silo Studio’ cottage or ‘Grand Silo Tower’ suite of rooms.

Located in the Berkshires of Western Mass., Santarella sits in one of the most peaceful and scenic valleys in the region, and yet is conveniently located just a few miles off Exit 2 on Interstate 90. This makes Santarella easily accessible from both Boston (2 hrs.) and New York City (2.5 hrs.)
