Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival

My family and I just got back from camping for 5 days during the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Ancramdale, New York. Malika and the kids have camped for the last 3 years before this, and I’ve only gone on day tickets to visit. But this year I had the weekend off and we made a family vacation out of it. And it was SUPER fun! What a great time. It totally dumped rain for the entire night on Friday and it was a messy mud pit everywhere, but it kinda made it even better! Here are a few photos I took with Malika’s point and shoot camera (I left my camera at home) The “No Whining” photo is on our 5 year old Zenith busking for money. He ended up making over $20 buks so he took his sisters out for ice cream :)

Back from the Cape

So were back from a week on the Cape. Sunday-Sunday in Wellfleet at this sweet “green” house. Pirate adventures, drive in movies, whale watching, and lots of games. I haven’t even downloaded my memory cards yet, so no photos tonight. We came home to a not frozen freezer and a garden that’s been taken over by the weeds. Now I’m just trying to get through the messages on my answering machine and the emails that are totally backed up! And we are going to Grey Fox music festival on Wednesday and camping for 5 days with thousands of other people! Let me just tell you… vacation is tough work with 4 kids. I need a vacation!
