Same sex marriage is now legal in Connecticut
October 10, 2008 – 9:29 am
Yea! Another step in the right direction for equality in the USA!
This is from Time.com:
Conn. High Court: Same-sex Couples Can Marry
(HARTFORD, Conn.) — Connecticut’s Supreme Court has ruled that same-sex couples have the right to marry, making that state the third behind Massachusetts and California to legalize such unions.
The court agreed with the plaintiffs, who said the state’s marriage law discriminates against them because it applies only to heterosexual couples, therefore denying gay couples the financial, social and emotional benefits of marriage.
Eight same-sex couples sued in 2004, saying their constitutional rights to equal protection and due process were violated when they were denied marriage licenses.
Two brides and a photographer

Hey there!
Here is a shot from the wedding I photographed yesterday at Tuckerman Hall in Worcester, MA.
On the left is Rachael (I’m shooting her wedding next year at The Barn at Gibbet Hill) the stunningly handsome man in the middle is your’s truly (duh!) and on the right is the amazing Jennifer (her wedding was a blast!)
Jen and Eric had a traditional catholic wedding, followed by an amazing party at Tuckerman Hall. I can’t wait to post some more shot’s from this one!
