Gedney Farm

OK, so here are a few photos from Jamie & Jarett’s wedding at Gedney Farm last week. There was a little bit of rain early on and the family photos had to be taken on a patio so it wasn’t ideal, but it ended up being super gorgeous for the ceremony and there was even a rainbow! (unfortunately, the rainbow was gone by the time the ceremony started) I have a packed weekend with a wedding in Cambridge MA on Saturday, followed by a wedding on Sunday at The Waterview in Monroe CT. I’ll try to post some photos from Hepsen & Eric’s wedding last weekend in Boston sometime this Monday!

There are SO many photos I want to upload from Jamie & Jarett’s wedding, but it takes up so much memory and bogs down viewers. Sorry!

Cape Elizabeth Maine

Hey there! So for the last three years, my family has made a trip up to Cape Elizabeth Maine, just south of Portland. This year we went for 5 full days. We stay with our friend Rachel in her families summer home. This house has been in her family since 1907, and it’s totally amazing! There is a lighthouse (Portland Head Light) a few minutes away and the house is situated on top of a 30+ foot cliff wall overlooking the ocean. Our days pretty much consisted of waking up and feeding 13 people, playing board games, eating, walking the rocks or visiting the beach, eating, shopping in Portland, eating, cocktails, playing backgammon, and eating! Nova and Zenith came down with chicken pox on our last day, it made for a pretty stressful drive home. Here are a few photos to check out.

Also, coming soon: More photos from Jamie & Jarett’s wedding at Gedney farm, and I shot a wedding in Boston on Saturdayand they held the reception at the ICA (the Institute of Contemporary Art) and the display in themuseum is by Anish Kapoor, and you HAVE to go see it if you are in Boston. It’s so cool, and completely trippy! (no photos allowed though, so you won’t get a sneak peek from me)

Tanglewood

I photographed Jamie & Jarett’s wedding rehearsal dinner last night at Tanglewood. It was supposed to thunderstorm really hard, but it ended up missing us! It was dark and stormy looking all night, but not a drop of rain. Here are a couple photos from last night, I’m off to their wedding right now at Gedney Farm & Mepal Manor!

What a summer!

I haven’t been keeping up on my blog lately. I’ve had a really full couple of weeks and just keeping up on my work has been tough!

So here’s the scoop…

My wife and I took a trip down to Philadelphia last weekend (no weddings, my one weekend off!) and only brought our 6 moth old baby girl Quest. We stayed at the Loews hotel right in the middle of it all. We visited a couple friends from New Jersey and Key West. Total blast! I didn’t bring my camera, but we had a point and shoot so I’ll try to download that and at least post one photo!

A few days before we left, we brought our kids to Howe Caverns

What an amazing place! If you haven’t gone, you TOTALLY should. It is so incredibly beautiful. I think I’m going to take a trip in the winter (less tourists) and I’ll bring a tripod. These photo below are all hand held, so they aren’t very good.

Anyways, I just finished editing Melissa & Johns wedding from last weekend and I’ll post some shots from it soon. Also, I’ll be shooting Jamie & Jarett’s rehearsal dinner at Tanglewood on Friday night, followed by their wedding at Gedney Farm on Saturday. Next week I’ll be in Portland Maine on another vacation followed by Hepsen & Eric’s wedding in Boston on Saturday!

Sorry for the lack of updates, I promise I’ll try harder!

The Bridgewaters NYC

Here are a few shots from Melissa & John’s wedding last night in Lower Manhattan at The Bridgewaters in NYC. What a super cool couple! They rented a classic Taxi from this great guy Peter at FilmCars and we took a drive through downtown until we found a killer spot with old cobblestones. Really a perfect location!
