Tavern on the Green - Wedding Photography NYC

Here are a few fresh photos from a wedding celebration yesterday at Tavern on the Green in NYC. They had 2 ceremonies, first a Catholic wedding followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony on the back patio at Tavern on the Green . It was a pretty amazing day. The weather was perfect, the food was superb, and the setting was beautiful. Not to mention the bride and groom were super cool!

Anyways, I’m pretty tired so I’m only posting a few shot’s for now.

A couple of tourists were right outside the limo taking photos of the bride while I took this shot.

Drummers waiting for the bride and warming up the crowd. The groom’s family danced for hours!

The drumming and dancing in Central Park attracted a couple hundred people in addition to the 250 guests. It got pretty crazy for about 30 minutes or so.

This is called Saptapadi. The couple takes Seven steps together (circling the alter) and it symbolizes the beginning of their journey through life together.

It was 4 pm when the dancing started, and the DJ’s managed to completely empty ever table and the dance floor was hopping. all but a handful of the guests were dancing, it was totally crazy!

Gedney Farm & Mepal Manor

Hi all!

I’ve had a crazy busy week, and I have a super busy Memorial weekend ahead of me.

Here are a few shots from Aaron & Kiera’s wedding from Saturday May 17th at Mepal Manor & Gedney Farm. It rained pretty hard so the entire wedding was moved inside. I’ll post more photos and a new slideshow after this weekend. Also look for 2 more weddings next week: A wedding (names withheld for privacy) at Tavern on the Green in NYC and Emily & Leo at Gedney Farm.

UPDATE: Here is Aaron & Kiera’s slideshow: CLICK HERE

See ya!

Hey, take a picture!

This clip was sent to me by Rebecca’s mother. It was cold, but Rebecca wanted to be outside for her photos with the girls and with her new husband Glenn. Rebecca’s mother Jess is a photographer and she put her camera down for a few minutes while she shot this footage. Hey, take a picture!
