A new Showit slideshow and a new wedding album!

I’ve been keeping busy these last few weeks, and I haven’t been able to write anything, so I’m posting several things together today!

Let’s see, first here is a link to Erin and John’s wedding album I just finished up earlier today. They were married last September, but only just decided on an album. They ended up going with a 30 page GraphiStudio album and 2 copies for their parents. Just click on the picture below!

I also shot a wedding last Tuesday (yes Tuesday) for a super cool couple who decided to do the deed on the 20th anniversary of their first date! This wedding was top notch! The food was stunning both in presentation and taste. The flowers were gorgeous, and the lighting for the space was phenomenal! They had a very non-traditional event with the family meeting at their hotel for the Ketubah signing while the guests arrived at the reception for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. Then the ceremony, and another cocktail hour! The reception was held at Artists for Humanity in Boston. Anyways, here is the slidesow I put together for Don and Steve, just click on the photo below!

UPDATE 3.30.08 I just found out that the Seven Hills Inn has been sold and they are canceling all of the 2008 weddings that were booked there! This really sucks. I met with a couple who are getting married on October 12th 2008 and they had put a deposit down last JUNE. Now they are in a total bind trying to find a location in the Berkshires that can host their event on the same day. Can you imagine if you planned your wedding in May and only had a month to find a new location? This is lame and there are going to be a bunch of really upset brides.

Here are a few shots from the wedding I shot last night (3.15.08) at the 7 Hills Inn in Lenox

More later!

Peace Hope Joy Love

These signs are hand made by my incredibly talented father-in-law Tamarack Garlow. I took these photos yesterday for the website he keeps saying he’s going to make so he can sell them to a larger audience! They’re pretty cool huh? The largest one “peace” is almost as wide as a door frame, and the smallest one “joy” is about 14 inches or so. He makes these using sticks, twigs, and tiny nails. It’s then painted with a sort of rustic looking finish.

Wedding Albums

Here’s a few photos of the wedding albums that I offer. The first 3 photos are examples of GraphiStudio Albums. They tend to be a bit more expensive, but they have more options that the others, including pocket book copies and clear covers with a photo on the front.

The 3 photos below are from a KISS wedding album. These are nice and simple Italian Leather bound books printed on Koday Endura paper. They come in three colors: Voluptuous Black. Smouldering Brown. Sultry Blue. Tempt-Me Tan. Forbidden Green. Redlight Red. The pages are perfectly thick, the leather is nice and soft, and the print quality is outstanding.
