Here are a few fresh photos from a wedding celebration yesterday at Tavern on the Green in NYC. They had 2 ceremonies, first a Catholic wedding followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony on the back patio at Tavern on the Green . It was a pretty amazing day. The weather was perfect, the food was superb, and the setting was beautiful. Not to mention the bride and groom were super cool!
Anyways, I’m pretty tired so I’m only posting a few shot’s for now.

A couple of tourists were right outside the limo taking photos of the bride while I took this shot.

Drummers waiting for the bride and warming up the crowd. The groom’s family danced for hours!

Big old church

The kids were over it quick. I was lucky to get this shot!

The drumming and dancing in Central Park attracted a couple hundred people in addition to the 250 guests. It got pretty crazy for about 30 minutes or so.

Both fathers were super stoked!

The bride was simply stunning in her Hindu wedding outfit.

Tavern on the Green has such a cool garden setting

This is called Saptapadi. The couple takes Seven steps together (circling the alter) and it symbolizes the beginning of their journey through life together.

First dance…The couple changed back into their original clothes during the cocktail hour

That is the cake

It was 4 pm when the dancing started, and the DJ’s managed to completely empty ever table and the dance floor was hopping. all but a handful of the guests were dancing, it was totally crazy!

that’s me!

Cheers!
I’ll post a slideshow once I finish it!
